Your personal data is processed by the owner of the Aqualis® brand, which operates aqualis-pro.com (“we”, “us”). For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at info@aqualis-pro.com.
Data we collect
We only collect the data you choose to send us through our contact and distribution forms or by email: your name, company, business email address, phone number (optional), country, business type, subject, estimated volumes, products of interest and your message.
For security purposes, our server may also process technical data such as your IP address and the time of your request, in order to prevent spam and abuse.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to your request and, where relevant, assessing a distribution partnership — based on steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract and on our legitimate interest in developing our business (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Managing the commercial relationship with customers and partners — based on the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Protecting the website against spam and abuse — based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Complying with legal obligations, such as accounting requirements — based on legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Recipients
Your data is intended solely for our team. It may be processed by our technical service providers (website hosting and email) acting on our behalf and under our instructions. We never sell or rent your data.
International transfers
Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Retention periods
- Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: three (3) years from our last contact.
- Customer and partner data: for the duration of the relationship, then three (3) years; accounting documents for ten (10) years as required by law.
- Security logs related to form submissions: no longer than necessary to prevent abuse, and in any case no more than twelve (12) months.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You may also give instructions regarding the fate of your data after your death. To exercise these rights, write to info@aqualis-pro.com. We may ask for proof of identity if there is reasonable doubt.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in France the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL, www.cnil.fr).
Cookies
This website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies and does not load third-party tracking scripts. Fonts and all resources are served from our own domain. As a result, no cookie consent banner is required.
